COLUMBUS, Ohio – The No. 7 Ohio State baseball team (29-24) squares off with No. 3 Indiana (31-22-1) in its second game of the Big Ten Baseball Tournament Presented by IFS.ai on Thursday afternoon at 3:00 p.m. ET at Charles Schwab Field in Omaha, Neb. The game will air live on Big Ten Network.

- The Buckeyes have competed in 31 Big Ten Tournaments in program history and have one 10 Big Ten Tournament titles (1991, 94, 95, 97, 2002, 03, 05, 07, 16, 19), which is tied with Michigan and Minnesota for most titles among Big Ten programs.
- Ohio State last competed in the Big Ten Tournament in 2019 and won the title that same year, defeating Nebraska, 8-6, in the championship game. The Buckeyes were also the No. 7 seed in 2019 and were the lowest-seeded team to ever win the tournament.

- Joseph Mershon and Nick Giamarusti lead the team in stolen bases; both are 15-for-17 on the season.
- On the mound, Landon Beidelschies (6-7) leads the pitching staff with 91 strikeouts in 84.2 innings pitched. He has an ERA of 4.15.
- Gavin Bruni (3-3) has fanned 51 in 48.2 innings tossed and has a 6.10 ERA.
- Big Ten All-Freshman Team honoree Gavin DeVooght (2-3) has compiled 36 strikeouts over42.2 innings thrown and has an ERA of 4.22.
- Justin Eckhardt (0-3) leads the pitching staff in saves with six. In 19.1 innings pitched, he has struck out 12 and has a 5.12 ERA.
- Blaine Wynk (2-0) has two saves and has fanned 36 in 36.1 innings tossed. Wynk has a 2.97 ERA. Wynk was an All-Big Ten Third Team selection.
- Jacob Morin (4-1) has struck out 32 in 28.0 innings of relief. He has an ERA of 5.79.
- The Hoosiers defeated No. 6 Purdue, 8-6, in their first game of the Big Ten Tournament on Tuesday.
- Going into Thursday's matchup, Indiana is 31-22-1 overall and the Hoosiers finished conference play with a 15-9 record.
- Outfielder Devin Taylor leads the Hoosiers at the dish, batting .359. He has a team-high 78 hits, 17 home runs and 61 runs scored. He has batted in 47 runs.
- Infielder Tyler Cerny leads the team in RBIs with 57. and in doubles with 22 He is batting .315 with 74 hits, 10 home runs and 54 runs scored.

- The winner/loser of the Ohio State-Indiana game will play the winner/loser of the Purdue-Nebraska game. The winner's bracket game will be on Saturday, May at 10:00 a.m. ET and the elimination bracket game will be on Friday, May 24 at 3:00 p.m. ET.
