COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Ohio State baseball team has been selected for the inaugural College Baseball Series tournament in Nashville, Tenn., announced by REV Entertainment on Thursday.
"One of the best things about being a part of Ohio State baseball is the opportunity to challenge ourselves against some of the nation's best programs in some of the best venues in our sport," said head coach Justin Haire. "This round-robin in Nashville will be another example of this, and we couldn't be more excited to partner with REV Entertainment on another outstanding event. We are looking forward to sharing the field with three other fantastic programs in March."
The Buckeyes, who were a participant in the College Baseball Series' tournament at Globe Life Field in Arlington, Texas in 2025, were one of four teams selected for the inaugural Nashville event. The other teams selected were Cincinnati, Vanderbilt and Virginia Tech.
The tournament will take place March 5-7, 2027, at First Horizon Park, home of the Triple-A Nashville Sounds. In 2027, the College Baseball Series will feature seven tournaments across five locations, which is the largest schedule in the event's history. Match-ups, game times and broadcast information will be announced at a later date.
Home Plate Reserved tickets go on sale in the near future at CollegeBaseballSeries.com. The premium offering provides access to all three days of the tournament and includes reserved seats behind home plate, reserved parking, a commemorative souvenir hat, and more. Home Plate Reserved tickets are $99 for adults and $60 for youth 13 and under. General admission tickets will go on sale at a later date following the release of the schedule.
