- Zach Brown (1-0) earned his first career win on the mound. He struck out one and allowed one run on four hits in 2.1 innings pitched.
- In the final game of the series, the Buckeyes fell to Arizona State, 10-8, in eight innings.
- Ryan Miller homered in the series finale, bringing Ohio State's total number of home runs on the weekend to 11.
- Hunter Shaw (0-1) took the loss. He allowed four runs on two hits in a third of an inning pitched.
- The Buckeyes went 2-1 at the MLB Desert Invitational to open the 2024 season. Ohio State fell to Boston College, 9-2, in the opening game of the tournament before bouncing back to defeat BYU, 7-2, and USC, 5-2.

- Justin Eckhardt earned the save. He struck out one.
- Mitchell Okuley leads the Buckeyes at the plate, batting a team-best .406. He leads the team in hits, with 13, including a team-best four doubles.
- Tyler Pettorini and Henry Kczmar lead Ohio State in RBIs with eight each. Each has also recorded 10 hits. Pettorini is batting .345 and Kaczmar is batting .303.
- Trey Lipsey has scored a team-high 10 runs for the Buckeyes.
- Lipsey and Joseph Mershon are each a perfect 4-for-4 in stolen bases.
- Landon Beidelschies (1-1) has the best ERA of the Buckeye starters with a 3.27. He has fanned 13 in 11.0 innings pitched.
- Gavin Bruni (1-0) has struck out 11 in 9.1 innings pitched. He has an ERA of 3.86.
- Colin Purcell (1-1) has tossed 8.1 innings for the Buckeyes and has fanned six. He has an ERA of 4.32.
