The championships start on Friday with the heptathlon's 60m at 10:40 a.m., while Saturday's action starts at 11 a.m. with the heptathlon's 60m hurdles.

COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Ohio State track & field team is set to compete in the 2024 Big Ten Indoor Championships this weekend at SPIRE Institute in Geneva, Ohio. The championships start on Friday with the heptathlon's 60m at 10:40 a.m., while Saturday's action starts at 11 a.m. with the heptathlon's 60m hurdles.
- Last weekend, a few Buckeye sprinters and hurdles competed at the Arkansas Qualifier.
- At the Arkansas Qualifier, Leah Bertrand earned her third 60m win in as many meets this season by running a 7.40 in the finals, while Fatouma Conde was the runner-up (7.49). Nazzio John was the men's runner-up (6.68).
- Marcia Sey (8.32) and Olivia Powell (8.54) both finished in the top-six of the 60m hurdles.
- At the 2023 Big Ten Indoor Championships, both the Buckeye men and women finished second as a team. Ohio State combined for eight individual championships.
- Anavia Battle broke the Big Ten Indoor Championships record with a win in the 200m (22.39) – the fourth-fastest women's time in collegiate history at the time. Battle also earned the Big Ten Championship in the 60m (7.28).
- Tyler Johnson also won two Big Ten Championships, completing the Buckeyes' sweep of the 200m (20.73) and also winning the 400m (45.31).
- Adelaide Aquilla defended her Big Ten Indoor Championship in the shot put with a best throw of 18.71m.
- Jaimie Robinson won the women's triple jump (13.02m).
- Leo Uusimaki won the heptathlon competition (5789), including wins in the 60m hurdles portion (8.17) and the pole vault (5.10m).
- Luke Bendick won the Big Ten men's pole vault championship by clearing 5.45m.
- Shot put: Hayden Tobias (6th – 19.86m / 65'2")
- High jump: Amaya Ugarte (T11th – 1.82m / 5'11.5")
- 60m: Leah Bertrand (T13th – 7.22*)
