- Was the runner-up in the triple jump (12.69m) at the South Carolina Challenge, also finishing seventh in the long jump (5.59m)
- Finished 12th as a team at NCAA outdoor championships and 12th as an individual in the triple jump (13.14m)
- Won the Big Ten outdoor championships as a team, setting a meet record with 185.5 points scored (breaking the previous record of 179 set in 1994)
