Spencer Concludes NCAA Championships with Third-Place Finish

COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Ohio State track and field team competed at the NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships this weekend in Eugene, Ore.
On the final day of competition at Hayward Field, Janela Spencer recorded a 12.79 in the women's 100m hurdles final and earned a third-place finish in the event. The senior earned her spot in the final after registering a 12.77 in the semifinal, a time that has her third on the Ohio State all-time top performers list in the event. Spencer also competed in last year's 100m hurdles final, finishing in sixth place with a time of 13.25.
It was the third third-place result for Ohio State at this year's NCAA Championships. Braxton Brann registered a school record time of 13.07 en route to capturing the bronze in the men's 110m hurdles final on Friday night, while the Buckeyes' men's 4x100m relay squad took third with a program record of their own (38.44).

- Men's 4x400m Relay: Noah Carmichael, Mason Louis, Edidiong Udo and Damon Frabotta were disqualified after the conclusion of the event.
