COLUMBUS, Ohio – The 2019 Big Ten Tournament champion Ohio State baseball team received its conference championship rings at a ceremony and was recognized at the Buckeye basketball game Saturday afternoon at Value City Arena. Ohio State went on a remarkable run, picking up four victories in five days, to earn the program’s second Big Ten Tournament title in four years and 10th in school history last May at TD Ameritrade Park in Omaha.
The Buckeyes, who advanced to their third NCAA Regional in the last four seasons, won 36 games in 2019, the second-most in a season under head coach Greg Beals. For their efforts, Outfielder Dominic Canzone and left-handed reliever and Big Ten Tournament Most Outstanding Player Andrew Magno were named Third Team All-Americans while left-hander Seth Lonsway and infielder Zach Dezenzo earned Freshman All-America honors.
