Gray Bounces Back with 6-0 Win over Scarlet in Game 2

COLUMBUS, Ohio – Gray evened the 2019 Scarlet and Gray Series with a 6-0 shutout of Scarlet Saturday afternoon at Nick Swisher Field at Bill Davis Stadium. The rubber game of the three-game series is set for 2 p.m. Sunday and admission is free.
Seth Lonsway picked up the win for Gray, punching out six while allowing two hits over four scoreless innings while Scottie Seymour went 2-for-2 with an RBI. Archer Brookman belted a two-run long ball for Gray and Sam Wilson went 2-for-2 with a double and a run scored.
Bayden Root will be on the bump for Gray in the finale while Patrick Murphy gets the start for Scarlet.
