2012 (Freshman Season): Made six appearances, all in relief … allowed four earned runs over 5.1 innings pitched … did not allow a run over his first four appearances … tossed a scoreless inning against Marist (3/9) … struck out a batter over a scoreless inning at Louisville (3/20) … tossed a scoreless inning against Eastern Michigan (3/27) … an OSU Scholar-Athlete.
Cary-Grove H.S.: Named first team All-Fox Valley Conference as a junior and also received all-area accolades … Rawlings Central Region honorable mention … went 8-0 with a 2.50 ERA and 57 strikeouts in 51.0 inning pitched in 2011 … posted a 6-2 record on the mound in 2010 with a 3.50 ERA and 41 strikeouts in 54.0 innings pitched … helped Cary-Grove reach its first Illinois state championship in 2009 and regional championships in 2010 and 2011.
