
Three Buckeyes Earn All-Big Ten Honors

OMAHA, Neb. – Three Ohio State baseball players earned All-Big Ten honors, announced by the conference on Tuesday.
Shortstop Henry Kaczmar and utility player Dane Harvey earned spots on the All-Big Ten Second Team. This is the second time being named to the All-Big Ten Second Team for Kaczmar, and the first All-Big Ten honor of Harvey's career.
Kaczmar returned to Ohio State for his senior season after spending the 2025 season at South Carolina. He has been a standout in the middle infield. He is second on the team in batting with a .319 average and leads the Big Ten with 24 doubles, which is just one shy of the Ohio State program record. Kaczmar has a team-high 68 hits and 48 runs scored, and he has also added 11 home runs, 45 RBIs and is 7-for-8 in stolen bases. He has a .968 fielding percentage.
Harvey spent time at designated hitter before settling into a starting spot at first base. He has an impressive 19 home runs in just 46 games played, which is tied for the Ohio State single season record. Harvey leads the Buckeyes at the dish, batting .339, and he has a team-high 56 RBIs. He has scored 37 runs and has 56 hits. He has .758 slugging percentage and a 1.188 OPS, which leads the Big Ten. Harvey has a .976 fielding percentage.
Catcher Mason Eckelman was selected to the All-Big Ten Third Team. Eckelman is batting .308 with 42 runs scored, 56 hits, four triples, eight home runs and 46 RBIs. Eckelman has been solid behind the dish, with a .984 fielding percentage.
Noah Furcht was the Ohio State honoree for the Big Ten Sportsmanship Award.
The Buckeyes open play at the Big Ten Tournament on Tuesday at 10 p.m. ET against Washington.
