Buckeyes Travel to USF for South Florida Invitational

Ohio State is sending 12 athletes to compete in the meet.
COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Ohio State track and field team travels to Tampa, Fla., this weekend for the South Florida Invitational. The meet, hosted by the University of South Florida, will take place Friday and Saturday at the USF Track and Field Stadium.
Friday's field action is scheduled to begin at 10 a.m. with the men's javelin competition, while track events will start at 4:15 p.m. with the men's 110m hurdle prelims. Saturday's schedule commences with the women's javelin competition at 10 a.m. The women's 100m hurdle prelims will kick off Saturday's track events at 4:15 p.m.

- DJ Fillmore's mark of 7.86m/25'9.5" (+2.5) in the men's long jump recorded at the Texas Relays is currently the seventh best in the nation. Victor Tornstrom currently has the 18th best mark in the country with a distance of 7.72m/25'4" (+3.2), also recorded at the Texas Relays.
- Katie Castelli's program record time of 10:04.34 in the women's 3000m steeplechase at the Raleigh Relays has her ranked eleventh in the country.
- Braxton Brann recorded a 13.44 (+3.5) in the men's 110m hurdles last weekend at the Texas Relays and is currently ranked fifth in the country.
- Janela Spencer's time of 13.11 (+3.7) in the women's 100m hurdles ranks as the 13th best in the country.
- Nazzio John recorded a 10.21 in the men's 100m dash at the Texas Relays, which currently serves at the 23rd best time in the country.
- The Buckeyes have four relay squads ranked in the TFRRS top 25, including in the men's 4x100m (18th and 25th), women's 4x400m (11th) and men's 4x400m (seventh).
