COLUMBUS, Ohio – Fresh off a Top 20 win, the Ohio State baseball team is ready to face conference-rival and No. 19 Michigan Friday-Sunday at Nick Swisher Field at Bill Davis Stadium. The opener begins at 6:35 p.m. ET Friday. The middle game is at 3:05 p.m. ET Saturday. The series finale will be Senior Day for the Buckeyes at 3 p.m. ET live on BTN. Games one and two will be streamed on BTN Plus ($).
The Buckeyes (32-16-1, 10-8 B1G) are returning to the diamond after winning, 10-2, over No. 16 FAU on Wednesday night, while the Wolverines (34-13, 12-5 B1G) travel to Columbus after falling, 8-7, at Central Michigan in a midweek game.

The Buckeyes (10-8) are in the Top 8 in the standings tied for sixth with Maryland (10-8) and Penn State (10-8) with two weekend series left to go. Indiana (13-5) sits on top followed by Minnesota (12-5), Michigan (12-5), Michigan State (11-7) and Nebraska (11-7). Ohio State travels to face Minnesota to take on the Gophers May 19-21 in Minneapolis to conclude the regular season. The Top 8 teams advance to the 2016 Big Ten Tournament held May 25-29 at TD Ameritrade Park in Omaha, Neb.
SENIOR DAY SUNDAY
Ohio State will recognize its nine-member senior class on Sunday before first pitch of the series finale. The 2016 senior class has won 132 career games, while advancing to three-consecutive Big Ten tournaments in the last three years. The class includes Jake Brobst, L Grant Davis, John Havird, Michael Horejsei, Troy Kuhn, Ryan Leffel, Daulton Mosbarger, Craig Nennig and Nick Sergakis.

- Ronnie Dawson became the first Buckeye in program history with at least 40 doubles, 20 home runs and 40 stolen bases in his OSU career last weekend. He is second in the league in total bases (106).
- Jacob Bosiokovic is tied for the Big Ten lead with 11 home runs.
- Troy Montgomery is fifth all-time in OSU career steals with 56 swipes. He is third in B1G with 41 walks.
- With 7.0 IP last weekend, Tanner Tully has 248.0 career IP, which is 19th on the OSU all-time list. His career ERA sits at 2.90, which currently is sixth-best all-time.
- The OSU bullpen has collected a 2.60 ERA with 180 strikeouts.
- Yianni Pavlopoulos is third in the league with 10 saves.
- The team is led by sixth-year head coach Greg Beals, who has taken the Buckeyes to five-consecutive B1G tournament appearances.
- Ohio State returns 20 letterwinners, including six starting position players and three starting pitchers.

SCOUTING THE WOLVERINES
Michigan wrapped up a 5-0 week with a home-and-home sweep of Eastern Michigan and league sweep of Rutgers last weekend but had an 8-7 setback on Wednesday night at Central Michigan. The Wolverines hold a 13-9 road record and have claimed Big Ten series wins over the Scarlet Knights, Northwestern, Nebraska and Iowa to put them in a tie for second place in the conference standings with Minnesota. The Wolverines are hitting .316 and slugging .435 as a team, while leading the Big Ten in on-base percentage at .406. Sophomore Jake Bivens leads the squad with a .387 batting average on the year and 28 multi-hit games, while junior Harrison Wenson is slugging .536 with six home runs. The UM pitching staff leads the conference with 395 strikeouts in 408.0 innings pitched with an ERA of 3.53. Left-hander Brett Adock is 6-3 with 78 strikeouts in 59.1 innings of work for the Maize and Blue.
OHIO STATE VS. MICHIGAN
The Wolverines lead the all-time series vs. the Buckeyes, 163-98-1. Michigan is 105-50-1 all-time in Columbus since the first meeting back in 1895. The Buckeyes have won five of the last seven meetings after sweeping the Wolverines during the 2011 campaign. In the last meeting, the Buckeyes fell in two of three games May 9-11, 2014, in Ann Arbor, Mich. Ohio State won game one by a score of 1-0. Under head coach Greg Beals, the Scarlet and Gray are 5-2 vs. the Wolverines with a 3-0 mark in Columbus. In 2014, Tanner Tully tossed seven scoreless innings with three strikeouts vs. the Wolverines during the 1-0 win in Ann Arbor May 9.
