EAGLE SCORING PLAYS
After the first three frames went scoreless, the Eagles notched the first run of the game in the bottom fourth when Michael Strem singled up the middle to plate Johnny Adams, who doubled to start the at-bat. A fielding error at third base allowed a second run to cross the plate. In the fifth, Boston College tacked on a third run when Strem sent a RBI single to center field. Boston College added three more in the sixth highlighted by a two-run double by Jake Palomaki.
BASES LOADED, NO RUNS
Ohio State had a great opportunity to strike the scoreboard in the top of the fifth, but Adams got a line out to left field and struck out an OSU hitter to kill the chance.
