Baseball Alumni Day Set for Saturday, May 14 – Ohio State Buckeyes

COLUMBUS, Ohio — The Ohio State baseball team will be hosting an Alumni Day when the Buckeyes take on Iowa at 3:05 p.m. May 14.
The Buckeyes have begun a new era in 2011 under the leadership of head coach Greg Beals and the Alumni Day will provide an opportunity to meet the current team and reconnect with old teammates and other former players. Former players will be provided a complimentary tickets and the opportunity to purchase additional tickets for friends and family at a discounted rate.
The Department of Athletics and the Diamond Club would like to extend an invitation to watch the game from the patio and enjoy a barbecue luncheon pregame while watching batting practice. Gates open at 1:30 p.m. and food will be available on the patio from 2-4 p.m. for all alumni and their friends and family.
The Buckeyes also would like to extend a special invitation to the 1991 and 2001 teams. The 1991 team still holds the record for the most wins in program history while both teams won a Big Ten Championship and qualified for the NCAA tournament.
