Stephens Earns First Big Ten Player of the Week Honor – Ohio State Buckeyes

COLUMBUS, Ohio – Ohio State outfielder Michael Stephens picked up the first Big Ten Player of the Week honor of his career, the Big Ten announced Monday.
The senior was 6-for-9 with four RBI, four runs scored, a pair of doubles and a home run in three games this past weekend in the Big Ten/Big East Challenge. For the season, the Victorville, Calif. native, is batting .522 with a team-leading 10 RBI and two home runs.
The Buckeyes (5-1) will be back in Florida this weekend, facing Duquesne Friday at 1 p.m. in Port Charlotte.
