Ohio State Game in Big Ten Tournament Final Postponed Until Sunday – Ohio State Buckeyes

ANN ARBOR, Mich. – Ohio State’s game in the Big Ten Tournament final has been postponed until Sunday because of rain. The Buckeyes face the winner of the Penn State-Minnesota game that is also postponed until Sunday with PSU leading, 3-2, in the seventh.
The Nittany Lions-Golden Gophers game will start at 10 a.m., with championship game to follow at approximately 12:05 p.m. at Ray Fisher Stadium in Ann Arbor, Mich. The “if necessary” game would then be played at approximately 3:35 p.m.
Tomorrow’s Ohio State game(s) will have broadcast audio available on www.ohiostatebuckeyes.com. OSU baseball coverage on WMNI will be on tape delay and start with the beginning of the game at the conclusion of the Indianapolis 500 that begins at Noon.
Either Penn State or Minnesota must defeat unbeaten OSU twice to win the title. Ohio State advanced to the winner’s bracket final with a thrilling, 10-9, 11-inning win over Minnesota Friday. Ohio State has now knocked of the top three seeds in the tournament, beating No. 3 seed Penn State, 10-3, Wednesday and No. 1 seed Michigan, 4-2, Thursday.
The Buckeyes are 36-22 overall and would advance to an NCAA Regional by winning the Big Ten Tournament. The 2007 NCAA Division I Baseball Championship 64-team field, with first-round regional pairings and site assignments, will be revealed in a live, half-hour telecast on ESPN at 12:30 p.m. Eastern time, Monday, May 28.
