COLUMBUS, Ohio – Steady rain Tuesday afternoon forced the cancellation of play Tuesday in the Scarlet and Gray World Series, the best-of-three intrasquad scrimmage that serves as the conclusion of fall practice. The Gray defeated the Scarlet 4-1 Monday afternoon to take a 1-0 lead in the series. The teams continue the series Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. Game three will be Thursday at 3 p.m. and game four, if necessary, will be played Friday at 3 p.m.
