Prior to Ohio State
- Spent the 2025 season at Cloud County Community College, where he had a 6-2 record on the mound and fanned 85 batters in 60.1 innings pitched
- Started his career at Blinn College, where he won an NJCAA National Championship
- Attended Paola High School and was a four-time first team all-state selection as well as being named the 2019 4A Player of the Year
