
Buckeyes Welcome Nittany Lions for Weekend B1G Series

COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Ohio State baseball team (17-14, 7-5 Big Ten) hosts Penn State (9-21, 3-9 Big Ten) for a three-game conference series Friday, April 10-Sunday, April 12.

- Friday's game, which was originally scheduled for 6 p.m., has been moved up to a 2 p.m. start due to expected inclement weather. Saturday's game will begin at 3 p.m. and Sunday's series finale will get underway at 1 p.m.
- It's Masters Weekend at Bill Davis Stadium. Each game will feature a Masters menu and pricing at the concession stand. Saturday, there will be a golf simulator on the concourse, a student T-shirt giveaway and fans can enter for a chance to win a round at the OSU Gray Course. Sunday will feature a postgame meet and greet; player card giveaway and kids run the bases.
- Loge box seats are on sale now, featuring premium comfort, prime views, and the convenience of mobile delivery from the concession stand. Loge box tickets can be purchased HERE.
- All three games will stream live on B1G+.
- Fans can purchase single game tickets HERE or on the TicketMaster app. Tickets can also be purchased at the ticket office at the Schottenstein Center or at Bill Davis Stadium on gameday. The ticket office will open 60 minutes prior to the start of each game. Students can get in for free with their BuckID.
- Free parking will be available in the lots surrounding Bill Davis Stadium.
- The Buckeyes fell to Bowling Green, 9-3, on Tuesday, snapping a seven-game winning streak, Ohio State's longest winning streak since 2023.
- Against the Falcons, Alex Bemis hit his team-leading seventh home run of the season and Miles Vandenheuvel hit his first long ball at Bill Davis Stadium.
- Vandenheuvel led the Buckeyes with two hits and two RBIs.
- Ryan Butler (0-1) took the loss. He pitched 0.1 innings and gave up three earned runs on four hits.
- Lincoln McVicker and Zach Weber combined for 4.2 scoreless innings out of the bullpen. The pair gave up just two hits, and McVicker fanned three.
- Henry Kaczmar leads the Buckeyes at the plate, batting .333 and he has a team-high 43 hits. He has batted in 27 runs and us 5-for-5 in stolen bases.
- Noah Furcht is also batting over .300 for the Buckeyes. He is hitting .307 with 35 hits and 20 RBIs, and he is 6-for-7 in swiped bags.
- Mason Eckelman leads the team in RBIs with 33.
- Bemis leads the team with seven home runs and 30 runs scored.
- Lee Ellis leads the Buckeyes in stolen bases; he has swiped 12 bags on 13 attempts.
- On the mound, Gavin Kuzniewski (2-1) leads the pitching staff with 44 strikeouts in 39.0 innings pitched.
- Chris Domke (3-3) has fanned 40 in 38.0 innings tossed.
- Pierce Herrenbruck (3-1) has notched 33 strikeouts in 37.2 innings, and he leads the pitching staff with a 3.82 ERA.
- Infielder Michael Anderson leads the Nittany Lions at the dish, batting .381. He has a team-high 26 runs scored, 40 hits, 13 home runs and 35 RBIs.
- Infielder Bryce Molinaro is batting .294 with 32 hits, eight home runs and 24 RBIs. He is second on the team in all four categories.
- On the mound, Colin Fitzgerald (2-4) leads the pitching staff with 36 strikeouts in 30.2 innings pitched.
- Benjamin Hudson (1-6) has struck out 28 in 34.0 innings pitched.
