COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Ohio State Track and Field team is slated to compete at the Tennessee Relays this Thursday through Saturday in Knoxville with a small group traveling to the Joe May Invitational in Baton Rouge. The Tennessee Relays begin on Thursday at noon with the multi events, 5 p.m. ET for the field events and 10:30 p.m. ET for the women’s 10000m. The Joe May Invitational begins on Saturday at 10:30 a.m. ET with the field events, while the track events begin at 2:30 p.m. ET. - Ohio State’s flight to Florida was canceled last week, but three male throwers were still able to compete in the Florida Relays.
- Two of the three finished in the top-five of the men’s shot put with Hayden Tobias finishing third (18.11m) and Josh Miller having his best throw of the outdoor season (16.80m) to finish fifth.
- The Buckeyes sent a group to the Oliver Nicoloff Invite, hosted by the University of Cincinnati, last weekend as well.
- David Palmer picked up his first win of the outdoor season with a personal-best 53.53 in the men’s 400m hurdles.
- Gia Napoleon posted her outdoor personal best in the women’s 800m (2:11.95), finishing fifth overall.
- The Buckeyes had five other top-10 finishes at the Oliver Nicoloff Invite.
