
Ohio State Wraps Up Final Day of Competition in Raleigh

The Buckeyes had participants in four events on the third day of the Raleigh Relays
COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Ohio State track and field team competed at the Raleigh Relays in Raleigh, N.C., this weekend.
The Buckeyes' final day at the Paul Derr Track and Field Facility was highlighted by a personal best performance from Sophie Bidwell in the women's hammer throw. Bidwell advanced to the event finals and would go on to secure and eighth place finish after recording a distance of 57.78m/198'7" on her final attempt of the day.
Day two in Raleigh was the most successful for the Buckeyes as Aniya Mosley and Katie Castell established program records in their respective events. Mosley surpassed her own program record with a time of 4:08.54 and earned a second-place finish in the women's 1500m, while Castelli set a program record by completing the women's 3000m steeplechase in 10:04.34 and finishing sixth.

- Men's 800m: Will McGraw registered the best time of three Buckeyes participating in the event, finishing with a 1:52.68 and placing 75th out of 193 competitors.
- Women's 800m: Freshman Olivia Holbrook crossed the line in 2:12.37 in her first collegiate outdoor meet.
- Women's 1500m: Mosley finished second and improved on her own program record, registering a time of 4:08.54.
- Women's 3000m Steeplechase: With a time of 10:04.34, Castelli placed sixth and established an Ohio State program record.
- Women's 5000m: Audrey DeSantis recorded a personal best time of 16:55.47, while Teodora Iovi registered a 16:57.33.
- Men's 5000m: Jack Agnew earned a PB, crossing the line in 14:21.03, placing 86th. Kevin Agnew placed 87th with a time of 14:21.12.

- Men's Hammer Throw: Brandt Morlock recorded a personal best 56.53m/185'5" on his first attempt of the day.
- Women's Hammer Throw: Bidwell advanced to the event finals and placed eighth after recording a distance of 57.78m/198'7".
- Men's Discus: Jack Knapke recorded a throw of 49.06m/160'11' and finished 16th out of 48 competitors.
- Women's Shot Put: Morgan Hallett placed ninth in the women's shot put, registering a distance of 14.52m/47'7.75". Kamille Smith finished right behind Hallett, earning a 10th place finish after recording a mark of 14.47m/47'5.75" on her third attempt.
The Buckeyes will be back in action next weekend at the Texas Relays.
