Ohio State Claims Two Event Titles on Final Day of Big Ten Championships

The Buckeyes brought home three event titles this weekend.
COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Ohio State track and field team competed at the Big Ten Indoor Track and Field Championships in Indianapolis, Ind. this weekend.
The Buckeyes captured event titles in the men's 4x400m relay and the men's 60m hurdles on the final day of competition at the Indiana State Fairgrounds. A men's 4x400m relay squad made up of Noah Carmichael, Mason Louis, Braxton Brann and Edidiong Udo completed the final event of the weekend in 3:03.87 to become Big Ten Indoor Champions. The time was a facility, meet and Ohio State program record. Braxton Brann also claimed a Big Ten Indoor Championship in the men's 60m hurdles, improving on his own program record with a time of 7.61. Aniya Mosey finished runner-up in the women's 800m and improved on her Ohio State record, finishing with a time of 2:01.44.
The Ohio State men finished the weekend ranked eighth out of 15 teams, earning 41 points from seven different events. The women earned 25 points over the three days of competition and placed 10th out of 18 teams. It was the best finish since 2024 for both groups.

- Women's 4x400m: Michaela McCall, Campbell, Avery Clark and Kiara Webb placed fourth with a season best time of 3:31.25.
- Men's 4x400m: Carmichael, Louis, Brann and Udo recorded a program record time of 3:03.87 en route to becoming Big Ten Indoor Champions.

- Women's 60m: Bobbi Olive earned a spot in tomorrow's final after crossing the line in 7.35.
- Men's 60m: Kyler Brown claimed his second qualification of the weekend after finishing in 6.63.
- Men's 60m Hurdles: Brann recorded a time of 7.70 and will race in Saturday's final.
- Women's 400m: Webb registered a personal best 52.97 to earn her qualifying spot in Saturday's final.
- Men's 400m: Udo crossed the line in 45.60, earning a PB and a chance to run in the event finals.
- Women's 800m: Mosley won her heat in 2:05.50 to earn her second finals qualification of the weekend.
Thursday February 26
- Men's Heptathlon 60m: Victor Tornstrom tied his personal best time of 7.00 and placed second, while Anosike recorded a PB 7.13 and placed 10th.
- Women's 200m: Campbell crossed the line in 23.60 to finish fifth and earn a spot in Saturday's finals.
- Men's 200m: Calhoun (20.91), Nick Biega (21.04) and Brown (21.05) all earned a spot in Saturday's event finals.
- Women's 600m: Mosley (1:28.35) placed second and Namoi Clarke (1:29.16) placed eighth. Both times were personal bests and qualified for Saturday's finals.

- Men's High Jump: Devin Jordan cleared a career best 2.12m/6'11.50" and claimed eighth place.
- Women's Triple Jump: Morgan Bridges finished in eighth place after recording a PB 12.95m/42'6.00" attempt in the event finals.
Friday, February 27
- Men's Long Jump: DJ Fillmore was named Big Ten Champion after jumping a program and facility record 8.23m/27'0" on his last attempt of the day.
- Heptathlon Pole Vault: Tornstrom placed third after clearing 4.60m/15'1.00".
Thursday, February 26
- Men's Heptathlon Long Jump: Tornstrom jumped a career-best 7.49m/24'7.00" and finished first in the event. Anosike recorded a personal best of his own with a 7.08m/23'2.50" attempt and placed seventh.
- Men's Heptathlon Shot Put: Tornstrom secured a third-place finish with a personal best 12.88m/42'3.25" throw.
