
Ohio State Set for NCAA Indoor Championships

The Buckeyes will have six athletes competing in Arkansas this weekend.
COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Ohio State track and field team is sending six athletes to Fayetteville, Ark., this weekend for the NCAA Indoor Track and Field Championships. The meet is taking place at Arkansas' Randal Tyson Center and will be streamed on ESPN+.
Edidiong Udo will be the first Buckeye in action Friday, competing in the men's 400m semifinal at 7:10 p.m. ET, Aniya Mosley will run in the women's 800m semifinal at 7:25 p.m. ET and DJ Fillmore will take part in the men's long jump competition beginning at 8 p.m. ET. Udo, Noah Carmichael, Braxton Brann and Mason Louis will race in the final event of the championships, the men's 4x400m relay, at 7:55 p.m. ET on Saturday.

- Mosley claimed second in the women's 800m at the Big Ten Championships and improved on her Ohio State program record with a time of 2:01.44.
- Fillmore broke a program record that had been in place since 1992, jumping 8.23m/27'0" and becoming a Big Ten Champion in the long jump. His mark ranks third in the country.
- Udo recorded a personal best time of 45.60 at the Big Ten Championships to earn a spot in this weekend's NCAA Championships. He is the third best performing individual in the 400m in Ohio State history.
- Carmichael, Louis, Brann and Udo set a program record in the 4x400m relay and became back-to-back Big Ten Champions in the event, winning at the 2025 Big Ten Outdoor Championships and 2026 Big Ten Indoor Championships.
- Brann also became a Big Ten Champion in the men's 60m hurdles, registering a program record time of 7.61.
- Fillmore, Brann, Carmichael, Louis and Udo received All-Big Ten First Team accolades, while Mosley was named to the All-Big Ten Second Team.
- Mosley and Udo were selected as the Buckeyes' Big Ten Sportsmanship Honorees at the conclusion of the championships.
