COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Ohio State track & field program is back in full swing this week, competing in the David Hemery Valentine (Boston University) and the Tiger Paw (Clemson University) Invitationals on Friday and Saturday.

The David Hemery Valentine Invitational will have the men's events on Friday and the women's events on Saturday. Track events will start at 9:00 a.m. each day with the men's (Friday) and women's (Saturday) distance medley relays. Field events will begin each day at 10:00 a.m. with the respective long jump and pole vault events. Doors will open for spectators at 7:30 a.m. with a $12 entry fee. Tickets can be purchased with the link above or at the door, where both cash and card are accepted. Boston University highly recommends spectators to purchase tickets in advance as they turn fans away once capacity is reached. Limited all-day parking is available in Langsam Garage at 142 Gardner Street, Boston, Mass. for $12. Fans can follow the meet with a subscription to FloTrack for live streaming or by following the live results link above.

The Tiger Paw Invitational will start on Friday. The first field event is scheduled to begin at 11:00 a.m. with the men's weight throw. The first track event will happen at 12:05 p.m. with the women's 60m hurdles. Saturday's field events will begin with the women's shot put at 9:00 a.m., while the track events will begin at noon with the women's 800m run. Fans will be able to follow the meet by using the live results link provided above.

The majority of Buckeye track and field athletes had last weekend off but four pole vaulters including Nicole Grimes, Samantha Potts, Morgan Fijalkowski and Bailey Fletcher all competed at the Ashland University Jud Logan Light Giver meet.

- Grimes won the women's open pole vault competition by clearing a season-best height of 3.80m/12-05.50.
- Potts, who also competed in the women's open, tied for seventh after clearing a height of 3.35m/10-11.75.
- Fijalkowski placed sixth with a clearance of 3.78m/12-04.75 in the women's elite pole vault.
- Fletcher tied for the 10th best height clearance of 4.30m/14-01.25 in the men's open pole vault.
