The Buckeyes finish up the weekend in Indianapolis with 17 top 10 finishes between both days.
COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Ohio State track & field team brought its two-week stretch of meets at the Indiana State Fairgrounds to a close on Saturday.
The Buckeyes saw 17 top 10 finishes between both days with six of those placing in the top five. Yesterday, Jan. 24, Jaxson Eckert earned fifth in the men's 600m. Today's top five finishes include Hayden Tobias (fourth, men's shot put distance: 17.68m/58-00.25), Lacey Stringer (second, women's shot put distance: 17.36m/56-11.50), Janela Spencer (fifth, women's 60m hurdles time: 8.38), Daniella Santos (second, women's mile time: 4:52.04) and Carina Napoleon (fourth, women's 800m time: 2:09.88). A couple of athletes set personal records including Stringer in the women's shot put and Olivia Oiler in the women's one mile (4:55.59).

The Buckeyes will be sending groups to three different meets next weekend including the Notre Dame Meyo Invite (South Bend, Ind.), Stan Scott Invite & Multi (Lubbock, Tx.) and PNC Lenny Lyles Invitational (Louisville, Ky.). All three locations will hold competition on both Friday, Jan. 31 and Saturday. Feb. 1. More details about next weekend will be distributed this coming week.

FIELD RESULTS
- Men's shot put: Tobias farthest toss went for 17.68m/58-00.25, landing him in fourth place.
- Women's shot put: Stringer threw for a distance of 17.36m/56-11.50, good for second place. This toss is Stringer's personal record with her previous occurring at the Rod McCravy Memorial (RMM, 17.26m/56.75).
- Women's triple jump: Morgan Bridges had the third longest triple jump distance for Ohio State this season (11.60m/38-00.75).
- Men's triple jump: Christian Seibert jumped 13.66m/44-09.75, which places fifth on Ohio State's season best performances list for the men's triple jump.
- Women's pole vault: Sophie Fong cleared a height of 3.94m/12-11.00, earning the fifth best season performance for Ohio State in the event. Nicole Grimes landed on the same list at eight after vaulting 3.64m/11-11.25.
TRACK RESULTS
- Women's 60m hurdles finals: Spencer finished fifth with a time of 8.38 seconds, improving from her hurdle time yesterday of 8.46 seconds.
- Women's mile: Ohio State had three women place in the top 10. Santos finished second (4:52.04), Oiler placed seventh with a personal record of 4:55.59 and Teodora Lovi crossed the line right behind Oiler, coming in eighth (4:55.70). Akemi Von Scherr rounded out the Buckeye women in this event with a time of 4:59.44 seconds. All four Ohio State participants landed on the top five fastest event times for the Buckeyes this season with Santos, Oiler and Lovi taking the top three spots and Von Scherr placing fifth.
- Men's mile: Connor Long and Cooper Citro represented Ohio State in the men's mile. Long had a time of 4:16.18 and Citro, 4:19.14. The times place second and third on the season fastest list for Ohio State in the men's mile. Citro's time was his fastest this season, besting his previous time of 4:21.64 (RMM).
- Women's 400m: Michaela McCall ran the fasted 400m time for Ohio State women this season, finishing seventh in the meet `with a time of 54.57 seconds. Jalaia Creary also ran, having a time of 1:03.27.
- Women's 800m: Napoleon ran a Buckeye season best 2:09.88, good for fourth place at the meet. Lilly Eckels completed the event with a time of 2:15.84.
- Men's 4x400m: Noah Carmichael, Jaxson Eckert, Nick Robinson and Nathan Streby collectively placed 10th with a time of 3:17.76.

FIELD RESULTS
- Women's long jump: Kayla Watson was the only Buckeye to jump, notching a distance of 5.64m/18.06.00.
- Men's long jump: Brian Kellon landed in the top half of the competition, finishing 13th with a jump of 6.95m/22-09.75.
- Men's pole vault: Edwards earned a spot in the top 10, placing eighth (5.04m/16-06.50).
- Women's weight throw: Stringer led the Buckeyes with a distance of 18.61m/61-00.75, placing 10th. Sophie Bidwell was the next to place with a throw going for 16.38m/53-09.00. Morgan Hallett was the third Buckeye to participate, tossing 16.19m/53-01.50.
- Men's weight throw: Jack Knapke and Tanner Watson represented Ohio State. Knapke threw a distance of 18.30m/60-00.50 and Watson tossed a best mark of 17.35m/56-11.25.
TRACK RESULTS
- Women's 60m first round: Amoi Hagans was the top Buckeye with a time of 7.73 with Spencer following right behind her with 7.77. Hagans slightly edged out her previous season high of 7.74, which happened at the Rod McCravy Memorial (RMM).
- Men's 60m first round: Nick Robinson, the lone Ohio State athlete to participate, ran a time of 7.09. He improved his season best of 7.12, which he ran last week at the Hoosier Horsepower Classic (HHC).
- Women's 60m hurdles first round: Spencer ran an 8.46, which was good for seventh place and qualified her for the next round. Katie Ruffener came in 11th after running an 8.72.
- Women's 200m: Ruffener, running in her second event of the day, completed it in 26.51 seconds.
- Men's 200m: Brown Jr. accomplished a top 10 finish, placing ninth with a time of 21.55. Robinson also competed, earning a time of 22.33.
- Women's 600m: Figler and Eckels each placed in the top 10. Figler (1:34.20) finished seventh and Eckels (1:34.31) placed right after her in eighth. Arden La-Rose completed her 600m with a time of 1:37.71.
- Men's 600m: Eckert finished fifth with a time of 1:22.69. Nathan Streby crossed the line in 1:24.95.
- Women's 3000m: A trio of Buckeyes including Lehman, Ana Karmol and Mia Robillard ran the 3000m. Lehman finished eighth (9:46.54), good for the second fastest Buckeye time so far this season. Karmol ran a time of 9:58.96 and Robillard, a time of 10:11.74. Karmol broke her previous season high (10:04.86 at the HHC) by six seconds. Robillard also beat her previous season high (10:12.19 at the HHC).
- Men's 3000m: Zubin Jha completed the event with a time of 8:25.41. He set a new season personal best with his previous PR being 8:30.70 (RMM).
