COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Ohio State track & field team begins the outdoor season this weekend at the USF Alumni Invitational on South Florida's campus.

Field events on Friday are scheduled to begin at 10 a.m. with the men's javelin, while track events will start at 5 p.m. with the women's 400m hurdles. On Saturday, field events will begin at 11 a.m. with men's high jump, women's triple jump and men's discus. Saturday's track events start at 12:30 p.m. with the women's 4x100m relay. Â

- The Buckeyes wrapped up the indoor season with Leah Bertrand and Hayden Tobias competing at the NCAA Indoor Championships, each earning USTFCCCA All-American Second Team honors.
- Tobias finished 11th in the shot put (18.70m / 61'4.25") at NCAA's, while Bertrand finished 15th in the 60m (7.37).
- At the 2024 Big Ten Indoor Championships, the Ohio State men finished fourth as a team while the OSU women were ninth.
- Mason Louis and Tobias earned Big Ten individual titles with Louis atop of the 400m with a personal-best time of 45.89 to move into sole possession of fourth in program history. Tobias captured the shot put crown with a season-best throw of 20.01m / 65'7.75" and is one of three men to surpass 20 meters this season.
- Louis and Tobias were named to the All-Big Ten Team. The All-Big Ten Second Team featured five individuals who finished as the runner-up in their event: Bertrand (60m), Braxton Brann (60m hurdles & 200m), Antonio Hanson/Armani Modeste/Noah Carmichael (4x400m relay).
- Shot put: Hayden Tobias (3rd – 20.01m / 65'7.75")
- High jump: Amaya Ugarte (T13th – 1.85m / 6'0.75")
- 60m: Leah Bertrand (T14th – 7.22*)
- 200m: Braxton Brann (T17th – 20.69)
- 400m: Mason Louis (18th – 45.89)
- 60m hurdles: Braxton Brann (T23rd – 7.71)
