COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Ohio State track and field team competes at the Notre Dame Meyo Invite and the Jud Logan Light Giver Open this weekend. At the Notre Dame Meyo Invite, competition begins on Friday at 4 p.m. for field events and 4:30 p.m. for track events. On Saturday, track events commence at 10 a.m. and field events at 10:30 a.m. The pole vaulters will be the only ones traveling to the Jud Logan Light Giver Open, with the women competing on Friday at 3 p.m. and the men on Saturday at 1:30 p.m.
- The Buckeyes competed at the Rod McCravy Memorial last weekend, hosted by the University of Kentucky. Ohio State combined for six event wins on the weekend – four on the women’s side and two on the men’s side.
- Clarence Foote-Talley earned his first win of the season with a personal best and meet record of 16.38m in the triple jump this past weekend. That mark currently ranks second in the country this season. Jamie Robinson completed the Buckeyes’ sweep of the triple jump by earning her second victory of the season in the event (12.85m).
- Anavia Battle won the 60m for the second-straight weekend with a personal record of 7.24. That time is tied for the eighth-fastest in the country this season. Following this weekend’s competition, Battle owns the top five times among the OSU women in the 60m in 2022.
- The top-ranked female shot putter in the country, Adelaide Aquilla, picked up her third dominating win to remain undefeated through three weekends of the indoor season. Aquilla threw 18.58m as the runner-up threw 15.84m in her closest competition of the season thus far.
- Shaun Miller Jr. earned his second win of the season in the men’s high jump, clearing 2.15m.
- Addie Engel picked up a win in her first solo race of the indoor season, the women’s mile (4:54.03).
