COLUMBUS, Ohio – Ohio State returns to action this week at the Inverness Intercollegiate after opening the season with a sixth-place finish at the Folds of Honor Collegiate in Grand Haven, Mich., last week. The Inverness Intercollegiate features a very strong field at one of the nation’s top courses.
- The Buckeyes’ lineup this week includes Vaughn Harber, Tyler Sabo, Jack Vojtko, Joe Wilson IV and Giedrius Mackelis.
- Ohio State opened the season with a sixth-place finish at the Folds of Honor Collegiate, shooting 849 (-3) over three rounds. Four Buckeyes finished among the top 40 individually.
- Junior Vaughn Harber led the Buckeyes with a fourth-place finish at 7-under par. He fired rounds of 65-71-70 and owns the team's lowest scoring average through one event at 68.67.
- Senior Jack Vojtko tied for 18th at 1-under par after closing with a final-round 68. He enters the week with a 70.67 scoring average and has now recorded 10 career top-20 finishes.
- Tyler Sabo finished tied for 25th in the season opener and shot back-to-back rounds of 69 over the final two days. All three of his rounds counted towards the team score.
- Joe Wilson IV tied for 40th at the Folds of Honor Collegiate, highlighted by a second-round 70.
- Giedrius Mackelis enters his sophomore season after a strong freshman campaign in 2025-26. He played in all 10 events, posted a 72.33 scoring average, recorded seven rounds in the 60s and notched two Top-20 finishes.
- The forecast looks favorable for the week with little chance of rain for any of the three days.
