COLUMBUS, Ohio – Ohio State carded a final round 303 and finished 10th at the Fallen Oak Collegiate Invitational this week at the Fallen Oak Golf Club in Saucier, Miss.
The Buckeyes led after an opening round 288 on Saturday, which was highlighted by under-par rounds from Jack Vojtko and Giedrius Mackelis.
Overall, Vaughn Harber led the Buckeyes with rounds of 75-72-75 and finished tied for 30th at 6-over par. Mackelis had a tough final round but opened with rounds of 71-72 and would ultimately finish at 8-over par and tied for 41st.
Vojtko was a shot behind Mackelis at 9-over par following rounds of 70-79-76. Joe Wilson IV opened with an 80 but finished with rounds of 74-73 and was 11-over par. Tyler Sabo rounded out the Buckeye five as he finished 57th at 12-over par.
The Buckeyes will wrap the fall portion of the schedule next week at the Cal Poly Collegiate at the Preserve Golf Club in Carmel, Calif.
