COLUMBUS, Ohio – Ohio State softball (26-26) closed its regular season and Senior Day in cinematic fashion, with Abbie Wilhelm delivering a walk-off single to center field, giving Ohio State the 3-2 victory over No. 25 Washington (35-17).
Wilhelm went 2-4 on the day with a home run and the walk off shot. Izzy Neal went 2-2 at the plate with two stolen bases. Taylor Cruse also homered on the day.
Jenna Molk got the win for the Buckeyes (16-14), throwing four innings in relief. Molk struck out five and allowed one earned run. Lorin Boutte got the starting nod and went three innings, fanning two and allowing one earned run.

Ohio State will look to extend its season, awaiting its matchup for the Big Ten Tournament, hosted on the campus of the University of Maryland. - The Huskies tied the game at 2-2 with a Gabi Toney single that brought in Tia Durst.
- Wilhelm slammed the door in the bottom of the seventh, scoring Izzy Neal on a walk off single to center.
- Jenna Molk got the win for Ohio State, with Lorin Boutte getting the start. Sophia Ramuno (10-5) got the loss for Washington.
