- The Ohio State women's lacrosse team hits the road for the final time in the regular season this weekend, taking on USC at 4 p.m. ET Saturday in Los Angeles, Calif.Â
- The game will be streamed through B1G+. Live statistics can be linked from OhioStateBuckeyes.com.
- Ohio State is 7-6 on the year (2-4 B1G) and coming off an 18-9 loss to then-No. 21 Penn State Sunday. USC is 7-8 overall (0-6 B1G) and last played Monday, with a 15-4 road win at Central Michigan.Â
Buckeyes vs. Trojans
- Ohio State is 0-3 all-time against Southern California.
- The teams first met in 2017, a 16-7 USC win in Mountain Lakes, N.J.
- In 2023, the Trojans posted an 18-10 victory at home over the Buckeyes.Â
- In the first Big Ten game between the teams last season, USC was a 9-8 winner March 23, 2025 in Columbus. Current Buckeyes Annie Hargraves and Kampbell Stone led Ohio State with two goals each in the game.
- USC (7-8, 0-6 B1G) has two Big Ten games remaining, hosting Ohio State Saturday and traveling to Oregon April 18.
- The Trojans are scoring 9.33 goals a game and allowing 11.60 a contest.
- Reese Robinson is first with 22 goals and second with 40 points, while Emma Bunting has a team-best 26 assists and 45 points, standing third in goals with 19. Kaylee Fravert is second with 21 tallies. Â Â

- For the second year in a row, Buckeye goalie Jocelyn Torres has been named to the watch list for the Tewaaraton Award.Â
- This year, she has started all 13 games for the Buckeyes, with 88 saves, a 10.77 goals-against average and .404 save percentage.
- Torres has 65 collegiate games played (all starts), posting a 10.57 gaa and .447 sv%. Â
- She matched her career best with 14 saves at Louisville Feb. 10 in a double overtime win and had 12 saves in the Buckeyes' win at Northwestern March 15 and against Rutgers March 19, tied for the fourth-most in her collegiate career.
The Buckeye Squad
- In its last time out, Ohio State fell to then-No. 21 Penn State, 18-9, Sunday in Ohio State Lacrosse Stadium. The Nittany Lions led 6-4 after the first quarter and 11-6 at the half, outscoring the Buckeyes 7-3 in the second half for the win.
- Ohio State is averaging 13.46 goals per game and has 16 or more in five of the last nine outings.Â
- Ohio State is allowing 10.46 goals allowed per game, giving up 10 or less in nine outings (including four or less four times). Â
- The Buckeyes are averaging 28.92 shots a game and holding opponents to 23.7 per outing. Ohio State is 24th nationally in shooting percentage (.465) and is averaging 21.08 shots on goal a game.

- The win at then-No. 4 Northwestern March 15 was the Buckeyes' first over a top 10 team since a 16-13 victory at No. 9 Penn State April 9, 2016, with Ohio State ranked 12th at the time. It was the first win over a team ranked in the top 5 since an unranked Ohio State squad beat No. 4 Northwestern in overtime 11-10 March 9, 2014.
Buckeye This and That
- Senior transfer Camryn Callaghan is first on the squad with 35 goals and second with 46 points, ranking third with 11 assists. She has a team-high nine player-up scores to rank third in the Big Ten. Â
- Callaghan has a point in each of her last 28 games, with a 76-17-93 line in the stretch. Her career total is now 232 points (192g, 40a). She ranks sixth among current NCAA players in career goals and is tied for ninth in points, ranking 14th in goals per game (2.95) and 24th in points per game (3.57).Â
- This year, Callaghan is fifth nationally and second in the Big Ten in free position goals per game (13/1.0). She has converted 59.1 percent of her free position opportunities.
- Junior Kate Tyack leads the Buckeyes with 52 points, ranking second with 33 goals and first with 19 assists (her second-straight 40-point season and one goal shy of the team-best 34 goals she had a season ago). She has multiple points in 12 of 13 games this season (all but Feb. 27 vs. Detroit Mercy), with multiple assists in six games and multiple goals in nine. She now has 91 goals and 123 points in her Buckeye career. Tyack is on 19-game goal and point streaks, with 45 goals and 63 points in the stretch. She has three gamewinning goals this year.
- Sophomore Abby Boyle, who was first on the team with 50 draw controls last year, had a program-record 16 against Detroit Mercy Feb. 27. The program record had been 13, set three times prior, with the last March 10, 2022 by Chloe Johnson. She had 12 last time out vs. Penn State, tied for the fifth-most in a single game in school history, and leads the Buckeyes with 76 draw controls (tied for the fourth-most in a single season in program history) and has five or more in eight of the last 11 games. She currently ranks sixth in program history with 126 draw controls. Boyle notched her first career goal Sunday.
- Darrien Furiness and Jocelyn Torres are tied for first on the team with 23 ground balls each. Furiness, a senior, has started all 13 games this season after playing in nine games the last three years combined.Â
- Audrey Schoemer, who has started all 45 games in her Buckeye career, is first on the team with 11 caused turnovers, including a career-high four vs. Oregon March 26.
- Zoe Coleman has goals in eight of 13 games this year, with a 16-5-21 line. She now has 71 goals and 25 assists for 96 career points in 61 games. Â
- Kampbell Stone is second on the team with 29 draw controls, followed by Delaney Harlan with 26. Stone is second on the squad with 10 caused turnovers, while Lindsey McCulloch and Furiness each have nine.
- Stone has 15 goals on the year, with at least one score in nine outings.
- Maddy Paz is third on the team with 18 goals and 35 points and second with 17 assists after a six-goal and point season as a freshman last year. She has a point in 11 of 13 games, including a stretch of seven-straight multiple-point outings.Â
- Brooke Vinson has a goal in 11 of 13 games this season, including in each of the last five outings. She has a career-high 15 goals and 18 points. Vinson played in six games and had three points (1g, 2a) over the last three years.
The Schedule Ahead
- Ohio State returns home to close out the regular season, hosting Kent State at 3 p.m. April 15 and No. 1 Maryland at 4 p.m. April 18. Admission and parking are free.
- The Top 7 teams in the final Big Ten standings will compete in the Big Ten Tournament. The No. 1 seed will receive a bye into the semifinals, with three quarterfinals April 22, the semifinals April 24 and the final April 26. Michigan will host the tournament at U-M Lacrosse Stadium in Ann Arbor.Â
