COLUMBUS, Ohio – Ohio State softball (18-19) will face Dayton (17-14) in a midweek game at Buckeye Field, making up for a postponed contest initially scheduled for April 1. All tickets will remain valid for the rescheduled date and time

The Buckeyes in a Nutshell
Ohio State returns home after taking two of three games from Minnesota, claiming its third conference series win. The Buckeyes put up 20 runs over the course of three games on the back of five home runs. The weekend brought Ohio State's home run total to 76, which trails only UCLA in the Big Ten. Though Parisien has not technically played 75% of this season's games, she leads the Ohio State offense in average, home runs, OPS, slugging, and is tied with Taylor Cruse for the most RBI. Skylar Limon also extended her hitting streak to four games, now hitting .351 on the year, which ranks third best among Buckeye hitters.
Jenna Molk started each game for the Buckeyes in the circle, improving to 14-11 on the season. Molk is also the only Buckeye with a sub 3.00 ERA at a mark of 2.84. Molk has not allowed more than one earned run in the last eight games. Her 14 wins are tied for fourth-most among Big Ten pitchers, as she leads that group in innings pitched with 123.1.

Dayton comes to Columbus 17-14, with an 8-7 record in the Atlantic 10 conference. Dayton has losses at the hands of Cal and Michigan State, two squads that the Buckeyes have faced and defeated earlier this season. Deidre Flaherty leads the offense in both average (.386) and RBI (25). Camrynn Linneman is the Flyers' home run leader, with six home runs and 20 RBI that trail only Flaherty.
