COLUMBUS, Ohio – Jenna Molk's standout freshman year continues to garner post season recognition, with Molk named 2nd Team Freshman All-American by D1 Softball, as announced by the organization on Thursday.
Molk's Ohio State debut was one that led the pitching stable for the whole of the 2026 campaign, finishing the season with team-bests in nearly every category. Molk penned 16 of Ohio State's 26 wins, finishing the year with a 3.34 ERA and 138 strikeouts.
Molk's strikeout total and 151.0 innings pitched found themselves in the top ten among Big Ten pitchers at the conclusion of the regular season. She ranks eighth in program history for innings pitched as a freshman and allowed no more than two runs in each of her wins.
Molk was also named to the Big Ten All-Freshman squad, earning 3rd Team All-Great Lakes Region from the NFCA. Molk's latest recognition marks the second consecutive year that Ohio State has had a freshman ace named to the D1 Softball All-American squad, with Lorin Boutte tabbed Freshman All-American by the organization following the 2025 season.
