COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Ohio State baseball team (19-19) hosts Akron (17-23) on Tuesday, April 21 at 6 p.m. at Bill Davis Stadium.

- Tuesday will be 614 Night at Bill Davis Stadium, featuring $6 tickets, $1 hot dogs and $4 beers. 614 Night tickets can be purchased HERE. The first 125 fans in attendance will receive a mini bat.
- Loge box seats are on sale now, featuring premium comfort, prime views, and the convenience of mobile delivery from the concession stand. Loge box tickets can be purchased HERE.

- Fans can purchase single game tickets HERE or on the TicketMaster app. Tickets can also be purchased at the ticket office at the Schottenstein Center or at Bill Davis Stadium on gameday. The ticket office will open 60 minutes prior to the start of each game. Students can get in for free with their BuckID.
- Free parking will be available in the lots surrounding Bill Davis Stadium.
- The Buckeyes dropped a three-game series against Purdue over the weekend in West Lafayette, Ind.
- Despite a seventh-inning comeback, the Buckeyes fell to the Boilermakers, 10-9, in game one of the series. Dane Harvey hit two home runs in the game. Mason Eckelman and Henry Kaczmar led the team in hits with four each, which is Eckelman's career-high and tied Kaczmar's career-high. Gavin Kuzniewski (2-2) took the loss. He struck out one and gave up nine runs on 10 hits in 4.0 innings of work.
- Kaczmar reached 250 career hits in a 12-7 loss to Purdue in game two of the series. Kaczmar and Eckelman once again led the team in hits with three each. On the mound, Chris Domke (4-4) took the loss. He struck out one and allowed six runs on three hits in a third of an inning pitched.
- The Buckeyes dropped Sunday's series finale, 6-2. Harvey and Noah Furcht each hit a ninth-inning solo home run to prevent a shutout. Maddix Simpson led the team in hits with two. Pierce Herrenbruck (4-2) took the loss. He fanned four and allowed three runs on eight hits in a career-high 6.2 innings pitched.
- Kaczmar leads the Buckeyes at the plate, batting .354 and he has a team-high 56 hits, including 19 doubles. He has batted in 34 runs and is 6-for-7 in stolen bases.
- Harvey leads the Buckeyes with 12 home runs and has hit at least one home run in five straight games. He also leads the team in RBIs with 41 and he is batting .308.
- Furcht is batting .301 with 43 hits and 26 RBIs. He is 6-for-7 in stolen bases.
- Kaczmar and Alex Bemis lead the team in runs scored with 36 each.
- Lee Ellis leads the Buckeyes in stolen bases; he has swiped 14 bags on 16 attempts.
- On the mound, Gavin Kuzniewski (2-2) leads the pitching staff with 47 strikeouts in 49.1 innings pitched.
- Chris Domke (4-4) has fanned 44 in 44.0 innings tossed.
- Herrenbruck (4-2) has notched 39 strikeouts in 50.0 innings, and he leads the pitching staff with a 4.14 ERA.
- Outfielder Brody Chrisman leads the Zips at the dish, batting .367. He has a team-high 54 hits and 34 RBIs, and is 21-for-4 in stolen bases. He also leads the team in home runs with eight.
- Infielder Tucker Biehl and outfielder Kelton Phillips have each swiped 14 bags.
- On the mound, Elijah Griffith (2-2) leads the Akron pitching staff with 34 strikeouts in 53.1 innings pitched.
- Floyd McKenna (1-1) leads the staff in saves with four. He has fanned 25 in 25.0 innings pitched.
