
Harvey, Kaczmar Earn ABCA/Rawlings All-Region Honors

COLUMBUS, Ohio – Ohio State first baseman Dane Harvey and shortstop Henry Kaczmar have been named to the ABCA/Rawlings East All-Region Second Team, announced on Tuesday.
In his first season in Columbus, Harvey tied the single-season home run record with 19 on the season. He led the Buckeyes with a .328 average, 57 RBIs and a .729 slugging percentage. On the season, he also added 58 hits, 12 doubles and 38 runs scored. He was an All-Big Ten Second Team selection.
Kaczmar, who returned to Ohio State for his senior season, set the single-season program record in doubles with 26. He led the Buckeyes in hits with 71 and in runs scored with 50. On the season, he batted .316, had a career-high 12 home runs and went 7-for-8 in stolen bases. Kaczmar was named to the All-Big Ten Second Team.
