
Ohio State Travels to Florida and Virginia This Weekend

The Buckeyes will compete at the Tom Jones Memorial and Virginia Challenge this weekend.
COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Ohio State track and field team travels to Gainesville, Fla., for the Tom Jones Memorial and to Charlottesville, Va., for the Virginia Challenge this weekend.
Friday's action at the Tom Jones Memorial, hosted by the University of Florida, begins at noon with the men's hammer throw and women's 200m, while Saturday's schedule commences with the women's discus competition at 9 a.m.
Field events will begin at 9:30 a.m. Friday at the Virginia Challenge on the campus of the University of Virginia, leading off with the women's hammer throw, while track events get underway at 3 p.m. beginning with the women's 100m dash prelims. The women's 5000m will be the first event to begin Saturday, scheduled to start at 9:30 a.m.
- Aniya Mosley is ranked third in the women's 1500m with her program record time of 4:08.54 recorded at the Raleigh Relays.
- Braxton Brann's wind-aided time of 13.44 (+3.5) in the men's 110m hurdles has him ranked fifth in the nation.
- DJ Fillmore's wind-aided mark of 7.86m/25'9.5 (+2.5) in the men's long jump is currently the 10th best in the country, while Victor Tornstrom is ranked 24th with a wind-aided distance of 7.72m/25'4 (+3.2).
- Katie Castelli's program best time of 10:04.34 in the women's 3000m steeplechase is ranked as the 11th best in the country.
- Janela Spencer recorded a wind-aided 13.11 (+3.7) in the women's 100m hurdles at the Texas Relays, which is currently ranked 16th.
- Nazzio John currently has the 24th best men's 100m time in the nation with his 10.21 recorded at the Texas Relays.
- Ohio State has three relay squads ranked in the TFRRS top 25 for their respective events, including the men's 4x400m (11th), women's 4x400m (15th) and men's 4x100m (25th).
