- The No. 25 Ohio State women's lacrosse team will take on No. 3 Michigan in a Big Ten game at 7 p.m. Thursday in Ann Arbor.Â

- Ohio State is 7-4 on the year (2-2 B1G) and coming off a 20-2 win over Oregon at home last Thursday. Michigan is 9-2 overall (3-0 B1G) and posted a 16-3 win over the Ducks Sunday in its last time out.Â
- Thursday is the 14th meeting between Ohio State and Michigan since the Wolverines joined Division I.Â
- The teams spent the 2014 season competing in the American Lacrosse Conference before the B1G started sponsoring women's lacrosse in 2015.Â
- Ohio State leads the all-time series, 7-6, with a 4-2 ledger in games played in Ann Arbor.
- Last year, the Wolverines posted a 14-7 win in Columbus March 27, 2025. The last game in Ann Arbor was an 11-5 Michigan victory March 7, 2024.Â
- Michigan is 3-0 in Big Ten play, with a road victory over USC and home wins against Penn State and Oregon.
- The Wolverines are 12th in the NCAA in scoring defense, allowing 8.0 goals a game, and are averaging 12.64 goals an outing. The squad is fourth nationally in draw control percentage (.653).Â
- For the second year in a row, Buckeye goalie Jocelyn Torres has been named to the watch list for the Tewaaraton Award.Â
- This year, she has started all 11 games for the Buckeyes, with 77 saves, a 10.12 goals-against average and .430 save percentage).
- Torres has 63 collegiate games played (all starts), posting a 10.45 gaa and .453 sv%. Â
- She matched her career best with 14 saves at Louisville Feb. 10 in a double overtime win and had 12 saves in the Buckeyes' win at Northwestern March 15 and against Rutgers March 19, tied for the fourth-most in her collegiate career.
- The Buckeyes are No. 25 in the IWLCA rankings for the third consecutive week.
- Ohio State is 13th in the NCAA in scoring offense, with 14.55 goals per game and 16 or more in five of the last seven outings, with 20 in the last time out vs. Oregon.
- Ohio State is averaging 9.82 goals allowed per game, giving up 10 or less in eight outings (and four or less four times).Â
- The Buckeyes are averaging 28.5 shots a game and holding opponents to 23.3 per outing. Ohio State is sixth nationally in shooting percentage (.510) and is averaging 21.27 shots on goal a game.
- Ohio State is 14th in the NCAA in free position percentage, converting 54.0 percent of its chances. Â
- The win at then-No. 4 Northwestern March 15 was the Buckeyes' first over a top 10 team since a 16-13 victory at No. 9 Penn State April 9, 2016, with Ohio State ranked 12th at the time. It was the first win over a team ranked in the top 5 since an unranked Ohio State squad beat No. 4 Northwestern in overtime 11-10 March 9, 2014.
Buckeye This and That
- Junior Kate Tyack leads the Buckeyes with 47 points, ranking second with 30 goals and first with 17 assists (her second-straight 40-point season). She has multiple points in 10 of 11 games this season, with multiple assists in six games and multiple goals in eight. Last time out, she had three goals and four assists against Oregon. She now has 88 goals and 118 points in her Buckeye career. Tyack is on 17-game goal and point streaks, with 42 goals and 58 points in the stretch. She has three gamewinning goals this year.
- Senior transfer Camryn Callaghan is first on the squad with 32 goals and second with 42 points, ranking third with 10 assists. She has a team-high nine player-up scores. Â
- Callaghan had four goals and five points vs. Oregon, her seventh game this year with three or more goals, to move her career total to 228 points (189g, 39a). She has a point in each of her last 26 games, with a 73-16-89 line in the stretch. Callaghan ranks sixth among current NCAA players in career goals and is eighth in points.Â
- This year, Callaghan is fifth nationally in free position goals per game (11/1.0). She has converted 64.7 percent of her free position opportunities to rank 17th.
- Callaghan is tied for third on the team with eight caused turnovers and ranks third with 16 ground balls.
- Darrien Furiness is first on the team with 21 ground balls, followed by goalie Jocelyn Torres with 19. Furiness, a senior, has started all 11 games this season after playing in nine games the last three years combined. Â
- Zoe Coleman had four goals and two assists for six points last time out and now has 69 goals and 25 assists for 94 career points. Her six points vs. the Ducks were the second-most in her career behind a seven-point outing in 2025. She had her third career game with four or more goals (a season high) and her sixth career multiple-assist outing.
- Sophomore Abby Boyle, who was first on the team with 50 draw controls last year, had a program-record 16 against Detroit Mercy Feb. 27. The program record had been 13, set three times prior, with the last March 10, 2022 by Chloe Johnson. Boyle now leads the Buckeyes with 60 draw controls (the eighth-most in a single season in program history) and has five or more in seven of the last nine games. She is the 12th Buckeye with at least 100 draw controls in her career and currently ranks 10th in program history with 110.
- Delaney Harlan had a career-high eight draw controls vs. Oregon and is tied with Kampbell Stone for second on the team with 25.Â
- Maddy Paz is coming off a two-goal, two-assist, four-point outing against Oregon. She has a point in nine of 11 games, including a stretch of seven-straight multiple-point outings. Paz is third on the team with 18 goals and 32 points and second with 14 assists after a six-goal season as a freshman last year.
- Senior Brooke Vinson has a goal in nine of 11 games this season, including two goals in each of the last two games. She has a career-high 13 goals and 16 points this season. Vinson played in six games and had three points (1g, 2a) over the last three years.
- Audrey Schoemer, who has started all 43 games in her Buckeye career, is first on the team with 10 caused turnovers, including four last week vs. Oregon
- Lindsey McCulloch is second with nine draw controls, while Kampbell Stone has eight. Stone has 14 goals on the year, with at least one score in eight outings.
- Annie Hargraves marked her eighth career game with three or more goals and her second hat trick of the season last time out. She has 13 goals and 15 points on the year.Â
- Hargraves, Torres and Stone were selected the Buckeyes' team captains for this season.
- Callaghan, Torres and Tyack were named to the Big Ten Players to Watch list entering the year.

- Ohio State will return home to host No. 21 Penn State at noon Sunday in Ohio State Lacrosse Stadium on Senior Day. The Buckeye Class of 2026 will be recognized postgame. Admission and parking are free.
