- The No. 25 Ohio State women's lacrosse team is back home for a Big Ten game vs. Oregon Thursday.
- The Buckeyes and Ducks will meet at 6 p.m. in Ohio State Lacrosse Stadium. Admission and parking are free. It is Dollar Dog Night featuring $1 hot dogs
- The game will be televised by BTN and on the Fox Sports app. Live statistics will be available on OhioStateBuckeyes.com.
- Ohio State is 6-4 on the year (1-2 B1G) and coming off an 18-12 loss at No. 8 Johns Hopkins Sunday. Oregon is 6-4 (0-2 B1G) and lost a conference game at No. 11 Northwestern 17-3 last Saturday at home.
Buckeyes vs. Ducks
- Thursday will be the fourth time the Buckeyes and Ducks have met on the lacrosse field.
- In 2019, the Buckeyes posted a 10-5 win at U.S. Lacrosse Headquarters in Sparks, Md., and in 2014 Ohio State downed the visiting Ducks, 13-9, in Columbus.
- Last year, in the first game as Big Ten foes, Ohio State defeated Oregon 20-6 in Eugene, Ore., March 12, 2025. In the win, current Buckeye Kate Tyack had a team-high five goals and six points and Kampbell Stone had four goals, while Annie Hargraves notched a hat trick.
- The Ducks are scoring 11.3 goals per game, while allowing 9.7 per outing. The squad has a .509 draw control percentage and averages 28.3 shots per game, putting 20.6 on goal per game.
Torres Tewaaraton Watch
- For the second year in a row, Buckeye goalie Jocelyn Torres has been named to the watch list for the Tewaaraton Award.
- This year, she has started all 10 games for the Buckeyes, with 73 saves (10.96 goals-against average, .420 save percentage).
- Torres has 62 collegiate games played (all starts), posting a 10.59 gaa and .541 sv%.
- She matched her career best with 14 saves at Louisville Feb. 10 in a double overtime win and had 12 saves in the Buckeyes' win at Northwestern, tied for the fourth-most in her collegiate career.

- The Buckeyes entered the IWLCA rankings at No. 25 last week and remained there this week.
- Ohio State is 24th in the NCAA in scoring offense, with 14.00 goals per game and 16 or more in four of the last six outings, with 12 in the last time out at Johns Hopkins.
- Ohio State is averaging 10.6 goals allowed per game, giving up 10 or less in seven outings.
- So far this season, the Buckeyes are averaging 28.2 shots a game and holding opponents to 24.4 per outing. Ohio State is 10th nationally in shooting percentage (.496) and is averaging 20.6 shots on goal a game.
- Ohio State is 14th in the NCAA in free position percentage, converting 54.2 percent of its chances.
- The win at then-No. 4 Northwestern March 15 was the Buckeyes' first over a top 10 team since a 16-13 victory at No. 9 Penn State April 9, 2016, with Ohio State ranked 12th at the time. It was the first win over a team ranked in the top 5 since an unranked Ohio State squad beat No. 4 Northwestern in overtime 11-10 March 9, 2014.
Buckeye This and That
- Senior transfer Camryn Callaghan is first on the squad with 28 goals and second with 37 points, ranking third with nine assists. She has a team-high nine player-up scores.
- Callaghan had a hat trick at Johns Hopkins, her sixth game this year with three or more goals, to move her career total to 223 points (185g, 38a). She has a point in each of her last 25 games, with a 69-15-81 line in the stretch. Callaghan ranks sixth among current NCAA players in career goals and tied for eighth in points.
- This year, she is tied for third nationally in free position goals per game (1.10). She has converted 64.7 percent of her free position opportunities to rank 21st.
- Callaghan is tied for second on the team with eight caused turnovers and ranks third with 16 ground balls.
- Darrien Furiness is second on the team with 18 ground balls, behind goalie Jocelyn Torres with 19. Furiness, a senior, has started all 10 games this season after playing in nine games the last three years combined.
- Junior Kate Tyack leads the Buckeyes with 40 points, ranking second with 27 goals and first with 13 assists (her second-straight 40-point season). She has multiple points in nine of 10 games this season, with multiple assists in five games and multiple goals in seven. Tyack had three goals and two assists for five points last time out at Johns Hopkins. She now has 85 goals and 111 points in her Buckeye career. She is on 16-game goal and point streaks, with 39 goals and 54 points in the stretch. Tyack has three gamewinning goals this year.
- Sophomore Abby Boyle, who was first on the team with 50 draw controls last year, had a program-record 16 against Detroit Mercy Feb. 27. The program record had been 13, set three times prior, with the last March 10, 2022 by Chloe Johnson. Boyle now leads the Buckeyes with 60 draw controls (the eighth-most in a single season in program history) and has five or more in seven of the last eight games, with 10 against Johns Hopkins. She is the 12th Buckeye with at least 100 draw controls in her career and currently ranks 10th in program history with 110.
- Senior Brooke Vinson has a goal in eight of 10 games this season, including her first career hat trick vs. Vanderbilt and two goals last time out at Johns Hopkins. She has a career-high 11 goals and 14 points this season. She played in six games and had three points (1g, 2a) over the last three years.
- Kampbell Stone has 14 goals on the year, with at least one score in eight outings and two against the Blue Jays last week. She is tied for second on the team with eight caused turnovers, behind Lindsey McCulloch with nine. Stone is second with 22 draw controls this season.
- Maddy Paz had a career-high seven points, with a hat trick and career-high tying four assists, at Northwestern March 15 and has a point in eight of 10 games, including a stretch of seven-straight multiple-point outings. Paz has 16 goals and is second on the team with 12 assists for 28 points, ranking third on the team in goals and points, after a six-goal season as a freshman last year.
- Zoe Coleman is nearing the 100 point mark for her career with 65 goals and 24 assists for 89 points.
- Annie Hargraves, Torres and Stone were selected the Buckeyes' team captains for this season.
- Callaghan, Torres and Tyack were named to the Big Ten Players to Watch list entering the year.

- Next week, Ohio State will play at No. 5 Michigan at 7 p.m. April 2 and return home to host No. 21 Penn State at noon April 5 in Ohio State Lacrosse Stadium.
