The Schedule Ahead
- The Ohio State women's lacrosse team wraps up a stretch of three straight road games Friday when it travels to Chapel Hill, N.C., for a game vs. No. 1 North Carolina.Â
- The Buckeyes and Tar Heels will meet at 1:30 p.m. at Dorrance Field.Â
- The game can be watched on ACC Network Extra with live statistics available.Â
- Ohio State is 2-1 on the year after a 19-8 win at Cincinnati Monday. UNC is 2-0 after a victory at Syracuse last Friday.
- Ohio State and North Carolina have met on the lacrosse field 12 times, with UNC winning 11. In Chapel Hill, the Tar Heels leads the series, 3-0. The teams have met twice in Columbus and seven times at a neutral site.
- The series dates to 1998, with the last matchup a 10-8 UNC victory in Columbus April 3, 2009. The last game at UNC was a 22-12 win by the home team April 4, 2008 as part of the ALC/ACC Challenge. Â
- North Carolina, the defending NCAA champion, is 2-0 on the year and opens its home slate vs. the Buckeyes. This season, the Tar Heels posted a 19-11 road win at James Madison Feb. 6 and a 13-9 win at Syracuse last Friday.
- Ohio State head coach Amanda Moore, in her third year at the helm, was a four-year letterwinner at North Carolina, with the squad reaching the NCAA quarterfinals each of her four seasons. She earned her bachelor's degree in exercise sport science – sport administration, with a minor in English, from UNC in 2008.
- For the second year in a row, Buckeye goalie Jocelyn Torres has been named to the watch list for the Tewaaraton Award.Â
- This year, she has a 9.83 goals-against average and .446 save percentage.
- Torres has 55 collegiate starts, with a 10.47 gaa and .457 sv%. Â
- She matched her career best with 14 saves at Louisville last week in a double overtime win.
- Ohio State is in a stretch of three straight road games. It started with a double overtime win at Louisville Feb. 10, followed by a 19-8 victory at Cincinnati Monday. After the game vs. North Carolina Friday, a three-game homestand follows.
- Senior transfer Camryn Callaghan scored six goals in the win at Cincinnati to reach the 200-point mark for her collegiate career, with 167 goals and 34 assists. She ranks sixth among current NCAA players in career goals and eighth in points (201).
- Callaghan shares the team lead with 15 points and is first with 10 goals. She is on an 18-game point streak and has a 48-11-59 line in the 18 games combined.Â
- Junior Kate Tyack had a career-high five assists and seven points at Cincinnati and shares the team point lead with 15 on the year, with a team-high seven assists, ranking second with eight goals.Â
- Tyack has both gamewinning goals this season, including the double OT winner at Louisville.Â
- Tyack is on nine-game goal and point streaks, with 20 goals and 28 points in the stretch.
- Callaghan and Tyack are tied for 24th in the NCAA in points per game (5.0).
- Zoe Coleman, Annie Hargraves and Maddy Paz each scored twice against the Bearcats.Â
- Coleman now has 17 career multiple-goal games and has five tallies on the year. Hargraves has 14 games with two or more goals in her career and Paz has three multiple-goal outings.Â
- Junior Delaney Harlan is first on the squad with eight draw controls, with a career-best four vs. Louisville. She did not have a draw control entering the season. Abby Boyle, who was first on the team with 50 last year, is second with seven draw controls in 2026.
- Sophomore Lindsey McCulloch paces the Buckeyes with six caused turnovers, including three at Louisville and two at Cincinnati.
- Sophomore Lindsey Moneymaker caused a career-high and team-best four turnovers vs. the BearcatsÂ
- Hargraves, Jocelyn Torres and Kampbell Stone were selected the Buckeyes' team captains for this season.
The Schedule Ahead
- The Buckeyes will return home for a three-game homestand, welcoming Detroit Mercy (3 p.m. Feb. 27), Robert Morris (Noon March 1) and Vanderbilt (11 a.m. March 7).Â
