Ohio State Opens Indoor Season This Weekend

The Buckeyes begin their indoor season at the Rod McCravy Memorial.
COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Ohio State track & field team travels to Kentucky this weekend for the Rod McCravy Memorial meet, hosted by the University of Kentucky. The meet will take place Friday and Saturday at the Norton Sports & Learning Center in Louisville.

Friday's action starts at 12 p.m. with the high jump, followed by track events beginning with the 60m prelims at 3 p.m. Saturday's schedule commences with men's pole vault and women's shot put at 11 a.m.

- The Buckeye sent two student-athletes to the NCAA Indoor Championships last season. Leah Bertrand competed in the women's 60m after setting a program record and placing third (7.19) at the Indoor Big Ten Championships. Edidiong Udo took part in the men's 400m thanks to his season best time of 45.72 at the Stan Scott Invite. Both athletes earned USTFCCCA Second Team All-American honors for their performances.
- At the 2025 Indoor Big Ten Championships, the Buckeye women tied for 12th with 19 points, while the men placed 14th with 10.5 points. Four athletes placed in the top five in various events including women's 60m hurdles (Janela Spencer, fourth), women's 60m dash (Bertrand, third), women's high jump (Amaya Ugarte, fifth) and men's triple jump (Ibrahim Khairat, fifth).
- Braxton Brann and Fatouma Conde were named Big Ten Athletes to Watch prior to the start of the 2026 indoor season.
- Brann holds the program record in the men's 110m hurdles (13.36 seconds) and received USTFCCCA Outdoor All-American Honorable Mention and All-Big Ten First Team honors for his performance during the 2025 outdoor season which included being a Big Ten 4x400 Relay Champion.
- Conde is a two-time Outdoor Big Ten Champion (200m, 4x100m relay) and was named to the 2024 Outdoor All-Big Ten First Team in addition to multiple 2025 USTFCCCA Outdoor All-American accolades.
