COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Ohio State track & field team travels to Lubbock, Texas on Friday for the Stan Scott Invite. The meet is being hosted by Texas Tech and will take place at the university's Sports Performance Center.
COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Ohio State track & field team travels to Lubbock, Texas on Friday for the Stan Scott Invite. The meet is being hosted by Texas Tech and will take place at the university's Sports Performance Center.
The action will begin at noon with the women's shot put and the women's 600-yard race. The meet will be streamed and available to watch on ESPN+.
- Aniya Mosley continued her impressive start to the season for the Buckeyes last week at the Indiana Invitational, winning the women's one mile with a time of 4:40.62 to place her third among Ohio State's all-time program leaders.
- Marcus Brown Jr. claimed second place in the men's 300m at the Indiana Invitational with a personal best time of 33.98. Brown Jr. also recorded a 6.76 in the men's 60m finals, the best time of any Buckeye in the event.
- Aaliyah Elliot and Daniel Edwards each took home second place finishes of their own. Elliot competed in the women's long jump and recorded a 5.85m/19'02.50" jump, while Edwards took part in the men's pole vault and cleared 4.85m/15'11.00".
- Kyler Brown's program record time of 6:60 in the men's 60m set at the Rod McCravy Memorial is currently the eighth best time in the country and the best among freshmen.
- Colin Cernansky, Noah Carmichael, Cooper Citro and Will McGraw currently hold the seventh best men's distance medley relay time in the country with a 9:55.56 after competing at the Rod McCravy Memorial.
