COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Ohio State baseball team (10-28, 2-16 Big Ten) continues its 10-game homestand with a three-game series against Rutgers (18-23, 7-11 Big Ten) Friday, April 25-Sunday, April 27 at Bill Davis Stadium. Friday's game has been moved up to 1:00 p.m. due to inclement weather.

Ticket & Parking Information
- Fans can purchase single game tickets HERE or on the TicketMaster app. Tickets can also be purchased at the ticket office at the Schottenstein Center or at Bill Davis Stadium on gameday. The ticket office will open 90 minutes prior to the start of each game. Students can get in for free with their BuckID. Fans that purchase a ticket to the Spring Game can add on a baseball ticker for one dollar.
- Free parking will be available in the lots surrounding Bill Davis Stadium.
- Friday's game will have a retro theme, with the first 200 fans receiving a t-shirt. Saturday will be Zach Farmer Day and Sunday is Buckeye staff appreciation, in addition to postgame trading cards and run the bases.
- The Buckeyes split their midweek games, defeating Akron, 11-5, on Tuesday and falling to Toledo, 11-6, on Wednesday,
- Against the Zips, Trey Lipsey led the team with two hits and three RBIs.
- The Buckeyes combined for five swiped bags. Sal Mineo led the team in steals with a career-high two.
- In his first career start, Douglas Bauer (1-1) earned the win. He struck out three and allowed one run on three hits in 4.0 innings pitched.
- Against the Rockets, Will Carpenter and Matthew Graveline led the team with two hits each and Carpenter had a team-high two RBIs.
- Sahil Patel fanned four in a career-high 4.2 innings of relief.
- Noah LaFine (0-1) took the loss. He allowed three runs on one hit in less than an inning pitched.
- Tyler Pettorini is batting a team-best .321. He leads the Buckeyes in hits with 51 and home runs with 10. He has batted in 35 runs.
- Trey Lipsey is batting .306 with 41 hits. He has a team-high 42 runs scored and is 13-for-15 in stolen bases.
- Nick Giamarusti leads the team in stolen bases, swiping 14 bags on 15 attempts.
- Matthew Graveline has batted in a team-high 39 runs. He is batting .274 with 40 hits and nine home runs.
- Jake Michalak (1-4) leads the pitching staff in strikeouts with 34 in 32.2 innings pitched.
- Nik Copenhaver (0-2) has struck out 23 in 24.1 innings. He leads the pitching staff with 18 appearances.
- Gavin Kuzniewski (3-3) has fanned 27 in 36.1 innings tossed and has a 5.20 ERA.
- Hunter Shaw (2-4) has 27 strikeouts in 31.0 innings tossed.
- The Scarlet Knights are 8-23 overall and 7-9 in conference play. They have a 7-16 record on the road.
- Outfielder Trevor Cohen leads Rutgers at the plate, batting .361. He leads the team in hits (60) and stolen bases (8-for-11).
- Infielder Ty Doucette leads the team in RBIs with 35, home runs with eight and runs scored with 37. He is batting .331 with 56 hits.
- Landon Mack (3-5) leads the pitching staff with 45 strikeouts in 53.1 innings pitched. He has an ERA of 3.54.
- Luke Fithian (0-0) has three saves. He has struck out 16 in 23.2 inning and has a 3.80 ERA.
