
Hollenbaugh Moves Into Top-10 on Day Two of Big Ten Championships

COLUMBUS, Ohio – Kary Hollenbaugh fired a four-under 68 in round two of the Big Ten Championships on Saturday, jumping 26 spots up the leaderboard to finish the day tied for seventh and to help put the Ohio State women's golf team in sole possession of seventh place.
Hollenbaugh shaved seven strokes off her round one score of 75 (+3). She has a 36-hole score of 143 (-1). Through two rounds, Hollenbaugh has shot par on 23 holes and has birdied eight holes.
Jillian Bourdage moved 14 spots up the leaderboard after carding an even 72 on Saturday. She is tied for 30th place with a two-round score of 148 (+4). Bourdage has recorded 22 pars and five birdies.
Faith Choi and Caley McGinty are tied for 42nd, each with a score of 150 (+6) through two rounds. Choi shot 75 (+3) on Saturday and McGinty shot 78 (+6). Choi has shot even par on 25 holes and McGinty has shot par on 22 holes. McGinty has recorded five birdies and Choi has three.
Emily Hummer shaved six strokes off her round one score to card a 73 (+1) in round two. She moved 16 spots up the leaderboard and is tied for 51st with a two-round score of 152 (+8). Hummer has recorded 26 pars.
Kailie Vongsaga shot 77 (+5) in the second round and has a 36-hole score of 158 (+14). She is tied for 73rd place. Vongsaga has shot par on 24 holes.
The Buckeyes carded an even 288 as a team on Saturday and are in seventh place with a total score of 586 (+10). Ohio State leads the 14-team field in par 3 scoring, averaging 3.02 strokes. The Buckeyes also have the most pars among the field with 142.
The final round of the Big Ten Championships takes place on Sunday, April 21 at Bulle Rock Golf Course in Havre de Grace, Md. Ohio State's tee times begin at 8:00 a.m. on hole one.
