
Buckeyes Place Sixth at 2024 Big Ten Championships

COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Ohio State women's golf team placed sixth at the 2024 Big Ten Championships, which concluded Sunday at Bulle Rock Golf Course in Havre de Grace, Md.
The Buckeyes carded a team score of 286 (-2) in the final round to finish the weekend with an overall score of 872 (+8). Ohio State shot second-best among the 14-team field on par 3s, averaging 3.01 strokes. The Buckeyes were also second in pars with 209.
Kary Hollenbaugh was the top finisher for the Buckeyes, tying for 10th place after shooting a one-under 215 over three rounds. She carded an even 72 in the third round on Sunday. Hollenbaugh shot par on 35 holes and recorded a team-best 11 birdies.
Faith Choi fired a four-under 68 in the final round, shaving six strokes off her second-round score of 75 (+3). She jumped 22 spots up the leaderboard to finish tied for 20th place with a 54-hole score of 218 (+2). Choi recorded 33 pars and 10 birdies.
Jillian Bourdage finished tied for 31st place with a three-round score of 221 (+5). She shot 73 (+1) on Sunday. Bourdage shot even par on 36 holes and had seven birdies.
Caley McGinty carded a 74 (+2) in round three and moved five spots up the leaderboard to tie for 37th place. She shot an overall score of 223 (+7). McGinty shot even par on 33 holes and birdied eight holes.
Emily Hummer finished tied for 55th place with a three-round score of 229 (+13). She shot 77 (+5) in round three. Hummer shot par on 34 holes and birdied five.
Kailie Vongsaga moved six spots up the leaderboard to tie for 67th place. She shot 74 (+2), her best round of the tournament, on Sunday and finished with an overall score of 232 (+16). Vongsaga recorded a team-best 38 pars.
NCAA Regionals will be held Monday, May 6-Wednesday, May 8. The selection show will air at 2:00 p.m. on Golf Channel on Wednesday, April 24.
