COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Ohio State women's golf team has moved into fourth place after the second round of the Clemson Invitational on Saturday and Kailie Vongsaga is tied for fourth place.
Vongsaga, who is competing as an individual, fired a 68 (-4) in the second round, tying her career-low round. She has a two-round score of 139 (-5) and moved 10 spots up the leaderboard to finish the day tied for fourth place. Vongsaga has shot even par on 25 holes and has birdied eight.
Kary Hollenbaugh carded a four-under 68 in the second round to shoot 13 spots up the leaderboard and wrap up the day tied for seventh place. She has a 36-hole score of 140 (-4). Hollenbaugh is tied for third-most pars among the field of 88 players with 27 through two rounds. She had one eagle during Saturday's round.
Emily Hummer shot 71 (-1) on Saturday and has a two-round total score of 143 (-1). She is tied for 23rd place. Hummer has birdied seven holes and has shot even par on 23.
Faith Choi carded a 74 (+2) on the second day of play and is tied for 27th with a 36-hole score of 144 (E). Choi has shot par on 24 holes and has recorded six birdies.
