- Ohio State split two games on the road last weekend. On Friday, it topped No. 8 Maryland for the first time in program history, but came up short against Rutgers on Sunday by a 1-0 final.
- Senior forward Makenna Webster's buzzer-beater goal on Friday against Maryland marked the 12th game-winning goal of her career, good enough for fourth-best in program history.
- With four games left in the regular season, the Buckeyes total 12 wins on the year so far—the most in the regular season since 2010. That year, the scarlet and gray finished 19-5 and reached the NCAA Final Four for the first time in program history.
- The Buckeyes stayed put at No. 3 in the NFHCA poll this week. Ohio State has been ranked in every poll this season, with all except the preseason selection being in the top 10.
- Friday's win against Maryland marked Ohio State's sixth win against an NFHCA Top-20 opponent. The Buckeyes have scored 23 goals in those wins.

- Veteran goaltender Abby Danson recorded a season-high nine saves against Maryland on Friday and added five more on Sunday, bringing her career total to 262. She holds ninth in program history.
Scouting Indiana
- The Hoosiers sit at 7-7 on the year with two ranked wins. Five of Indiana's losses have been decided by only one goal.
- Indiana is sixth in the Big Ten standings at 2-3, with both of those wins coming in overtime. The Hoosiers totaled six goals in those matches against then-No.12 Iowa and Rutgers.
- Ohio State is 25-10-1 against Indiana, with last year's meeting being a 3-0 shutout by the Buckeyes in Bloomington. Ohio State has out-scored the Hoosiers 30-8 in the last 10 meetings.
- Inés Garcia Prado leads the Hoosiers in points with 13 on the year (6G 1A). The sophomore midfielder was also featured in the Big Ten Preseason Players to Watch List.
- Sadie Canelli, a freshman goalkeeper, was awarded Defensive Player of the Week honors for both the Big Ten and the NFHCA on Oct. 14 after allowing only one goal in a pair of wins and 137 minutes of action. The Boxford, Mass., native totals 45 saves on the year.
- That same week, Mijnte Hagen, a forward, won Big Ten Freshman of the Week honors. Hagen has scored five goals on the season.
- Three Hoosiers on this year's roster are from Ohio: freshman Charlotte Glasper, sophomore Javi Baeza and senior Maggie Carter (all from Shaker Heights).
Scouting Iowa
- The Hawkeyes lead the all-time series against the Buckeyes 52-17. Last year's matchup, however, was a 2-1 Buckeye win, where Ohio State took down the then-No. 1 Hawkeyes in Iowa City.
