
Buckeyes Head to Wisconsin for Pre-Nationals

Men and women will race Saturday in Madison
COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Ohio State men's and women's cross country teams will race in the Wisconsin Pre-Nationals Saturday in Madison, Wis., on the Thomas Zimmer Championship Cross Country Course. The race closes out the regular season for the Buckeyes and the course is also the site of the 2024 NCAA Championships.

Buckeyes are slated to run in the women's open race at 12:20 p.m. ET, the men's open race at 1 p.m. ET, the women's B race at 1:40 p.m. ET and the men's B race at 2:20 p.m. ET. The women's races will be 6K, with the men's 8K. Live results will be HERE and RunnerSpace will stream the meet HERE.

An admission ticket is $20, which includes a shuttle ride, and a parking permit is $5. One parking permit is required per vehicle and an admission ticket is required for each individual riding the bus. Spectators are encouraged to purchase parking and tickets in advance. All transactions, including on-site sales, will be cashless. Fans can purchase parking and tickets HERE.

- Last time out, Ohio State ran in the Loyola Lakefront Invitational Oct. 4. Aniya Mosley led the women with a 21st-place finish, while Zubin Jha and Kevin Agnew were both in the Top 30 for the men.
- Jack Agnew, Kevin Agnew, Jha and Weston Day have all been among the Top 5 men in the Buckeyes' first three races. Connor Long closed out the counters in the season-opening race and Kaleb Martin was among the Top 5 Buckeyes at both Minnesota and Loyola.
- For the women, Akemi Von Scherr and Audrey DeSantis have been in the Top 5 in all three races. Teodora Iovi, Sydney Paul and Daniella Santos were counters in the two races they each ran. Zoee Lehman and Mosley also have one Top 5 finish for the squad each.
- In the USFTFCCCA regional rankings released Oct. 7, the Buckeye women are eighth in the Great Lakes Region, with B1G schools No. 2 Wisconsin, No. 3 Michigan State and No. 5 Michigan in the Top 5. Ohio State's men are eighth in the region, with B1G schools No. 2 Wisconsin, No. 3 Michigan, No. 5 Michigan State, No. 6 Indiana and No. 7 Purdue also in the Top 8.Â
- Two of the Buckeye men have been recognized with the B1G Freshman of the Week award. Jack Agnew was honored Sept. 4, with Weston Day earning the accolade Sept. 25.
- The postseason begins at the Big Ten Championships Nov. 1 in Champaign, Ill., with the NCAA Great Lakes Regional Championships Nov. 15 in Norton, Ohio, and the NCAA Championships in Madison, Wis., Nov. 23.
