Buckeyes Place Ninth at Silverado Showdown

NAPA, Calif. – The No. 24 Buckeyes placed ninth at the Silverado Showdown, completed the third and final round of the tournament on Wednesday. Ohio State shot a team score of 903 (+39) after shooting a tournament-best 296 (+8) in the final round.
Jillian Bourdage jumped up 12 spots in the standings to finish tied for 11th place after shooting even (72) in the third round. She carded a 54-hole score of 221 (+5).
Lauren Peter carded a 73 (+1) in round three for a total score of 223 (+7). Peter moved up 14 spots in the standings to tie for 15th place.
Kary Hollenbaugh also made a big jump in the standings, moving up 29 spots from the second round to finish the tournament tied for 35th. She shot an even 72 in round three for a 54-hole total score of 228 (+12).
Aneka Seumanutafa finished with a three-round score of 232 (+16) after shooting 79 (+7) on Wednesday. She tied for 61st place.
Faith Choi finished 93rd with a total score of 252 (+36). She shot 84 (+12) in the third round.
The Buckeyes close out the regular season next weekend when they host the Lady Buckeye at the OSU Scarlet Course April 15-16.
