
McGinty, Ohio State in the Lead After 36 Holes of Lady Buckeye

COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Buckeyes set a program record on the first day of the Lady Buckeye, shooting a 36-hole record of 558 (-18). Ohio State leads the field after the first two rounds of play.
Caley McGinty is in a three-way tie for first place with a score of 135 (-9). She shot two under-par rounds, firing a 67 (-5) in round one and a 68 (-4) in round two.
Kary Hollenbaugh also turned in two under-par rounds, carding a 70 (-2) in both rounds. She is tied for sixth place with a 36-hole score of 140 (-4).
Jillian Bourdage carded a one-under 71 on the first 18 holes and an even 72 on the second 18 holes. Her total score of 143 (-1) puts her in a tie for 15th place.
Lauren Peter is tied for 18th place after shooting 144 (E) through the first two rounds. She carded a 69 (-3) in round one and a 75 (+3) in round two.
Kailie Vongsaga and Aneka Seumanutafa are tied for 22nd place; each has a 36-hole score of 145 (+1). Vongsaga shot rounds of 74 (+2) and 71 (-1) and Seumanutafa carded rounds of 72 (E) and 73 (+1).
Faith Choi and Emily Hummer are competing as individuals. Choi carded a 76 (+4) in the first round and shaved five strokes off her score to shoot 71 (-1) in the second round. She is tied for 32nd with a score of 147 (+3). Hummer is tied for 41st with a 36-hole score of 149 (+5). She shot 75 (+3) in round one and 74 (+2) in round two.
The third and final round of the Lady Buckeye Invitational will take place on Sunday, April 16 and will begin with a shotgun start at 8:30 a.m.
