Gray Defeats Scarlet, 9-4, in Game Two Friday Night

COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Gray team defeated Scarlet, 9-4, in five innings in the second game of the Scarlet & Gray Series Friday night at Nick Swisher Field at Bill Davis Stadium in seven innings.
Gray started the game with a one-run lead following a competition at practice on Thursday afternoon. At the dish, Dominic Canzone was 2-for-2 with a home run, three runs scored and two RBI. Nate Romans was 2-for-2 with a walk, two runs scored and RBI and Noah West was 2-for-3 home run, double, and five RBI. Brady Cherry was 2-for-3 with a triple and two RBI for Scarlet.
On the mound, right-hander Garrett Burhenn got the win, striking out five in 3.1 innings of work.
Game three is at Noon Saturday at Bill Davis Stadium.
